Cancer Diagnosis & Treatment

The Siddhagiri Sai Medical Committee, under the divine blessings of Bhagawan Baba, is dedicated to providing essential medical care to the rural communities in the district. Driven by a vision of comprehensive healthcare, the committee organized an extensive awareness camp focused on breast and cervical cancer, targeting 348 villages and 122 colonies.
As the camp progressed, reaching over 100 villages, a startling revelation emerged: approximately 40% of the women screened were diagnosed with cancer. This urgent medical finding underscored the critical need for immediate intervention. The committee promptly referred these women to other hospitals for free treatment, ensuring they received the necessary care without financial burden.
The awareness camp continues to journey through the remaining villages, steadfast in its mission to combat cancer and promote health education. The Siddhagiri Sai Medical Committee remains committed to its cause, working tirelessly to improve the health and well-being of rural women, guided by the grace and vision of Bhagawan Baba.
On investigation it was observed that the prevalence of cancer among the rural women is due to the high metal content in the consumable water and in the contaminated soil used for Cultivation
Few solutions were proposed to eradicate the health hazardous problem. They are as follows:
  • To setup UV water filters in villages
  • FPO Project to preserve / rejuvenate soil through organic farming
  • Setting up of Goshalas in every village
  • To setup mobile awareness units
Proposed Preventive measures and coverage across the district
  • A mobile unit with mammogram for holistic diagnosis
  • Setting up a Genetic Lab in the foundation to diagnose inherited disease.
  • Vaccinate young adults to eradicate cervix cancer.
  • Setup a Radiotherapy unit in the Foundation for early cure.
